How beautiful a day can be
When kindness touches it!

Now that I think about it, I have to laugh at the foul mood I woke up in. As it turns out, my day was fantastic. Even though the skies were grey, the sun was stuck right behind the clouds. Sometimes life is just good, even though we may not see it right away.
I owe it all to my friend Sarah who really surprised me this morning by driving across town with my favorite Starbucks drink and leaving it on my front doorstep. A simple textmessage saying "Walk to the front door and open" was all I got. Now isn't that sweetest gesture from a good friend? She knew what would put a smile on my face in the midst of all my anxiety. I swear I was so touched, and I still am. What a sweetheart (((Hugs to you Sarah, and your beautiful personality.)))) This yummy drink and her sweet thoughts put a smile on my face all day.
You see she knew I had been trying to get my taxes and paperwork done. Life was putting too many obstacles in the way, and this was making me a bit nervous. Just a bit though. I was not too happy when I had to cancel my "walking" this morning either. However, I made the right decision, because I finished my taxes with a smile on my face, and after working so hard, I also found this.
