After experiencing such a dreadful day with the kids on Tuesday, I attempted to make them happy on Wednesday. We decided to take a hike (2 miles to be exact), and we experienced the wonderment of Fall. For the first time this year, we saw the wonderful greens mixed with the yellows and oranges. The kids had a great time, and I got to take some beautiful pictures. After two hours of fun, we turned around and went home, and for the first time in a long time the kids were ready to go to bed an hour early.
Thank you for all the wonderful comments, being a mom is not easy, and going at it alone is even tougher, but without friends it would not be possible.
