I must say that I am always delighted to work with these patterns because the details are very well thought out. This company makes childrens clothes like you would sew a woman's pattern. The inside is clean, the hems are double folded. These patterns do take awhile to read through, but once you make up a pattern, and determine the fit, they get easier every time. I have never had a problem with the fit, no matter what size I sew, therefore I can only highly recommend their patterns. This time I sewed the blouse in a size 18-24 months, and instead of buttons I put snaps on the back placket. The fabric was purchased at JA. I don't know why I cannot get out of the red mode lately.
My husband is not too fond of the shirt. He would have prefer red and white binding instead of the blue. I intend on making a pair of jeans that will match the tunic. Once that is done, he may change his mind. Let's see what my other critics have to say. Here are some more pictures.
If you have never visited Room Seven, you have to take a look at their children's clothing. It is beautiful and romantic. I really enjoyed visiting this site.
Heather Bailey designed two beautiful outfits that you can see on her website. A sneak peek.
